Gene Bearden -  ERA: 4.97   G: 26   GS: 12
 
Since Bearden's ERA is not 5.01 or higher, he is limited to 12 starts,
and 14 relief appearances.
 
 
 
Cliff Fannin - ERA: 6.53   G: 25   GS: 16
 
Since Fannin's ERA is 5.01 or higher, he can appear in the following
number of games:
 
24 starts (16 doubled up to a max of 24)
 
18 relief appearances (9 actual relief appearances doubled to 18)
 
 
 
***Note***
 
If a pitcher's ERA is 5.01 or higher:
 
 - starts can be doubled up to a maximum of 24
 
 - relief appearances can be doubled up to a maximum of 60
 
 
Starts can be used as relief appearances, relief appearances CANNOT be
used as starts.
